Book idea: Make something microscopic. How small can you work?
The result: Tiny star.
Make something everyday. Let's see how this goes... I recently received 365 A Daily Creativity Journal and am going to give it a try. The theme we've chosen is stars. My partner in this creative endeavor is my 1 1/2 (now 2 1/2) yr old daughter. I hope that some of our works will be great. I can guarantee that some of them will be fantastically kid sloppy and probably more than a few will be obviously done quickly due to lack of time, but it should be a fun experience to share with my daughter.

The result: Printed photo of snow, grass, and leaves cut into star, then went outside.

Day 11
Book idea: Work on the other hand. Pick a medium you're comfortable with, then work with your nondominant hand.
The result: We colored a picture with crayons. Cut out stars taped down while we colored and then taken off to make the star shapes. (Little Miss is still pretty ambidextrous at her age.)

Day 10
Book idea: Use only water as your medium/inspiration today.
The result: Frozen star made in cookie cutter with blue food coloring and straw (to hold it).
What would you do if you were given this? Eat it and dance, of course.
